If you use the official bios upgrades there is no risk. Bios is made to be upgraded/flashed.
For any of you PC nerds out there. I have a Asus Crosshair Motherboard AM2. I was reading some forums about upgrading the Bios to a newer version thats supports the Phenom CPUs. Has anyone ever done that before to there rig ? I know theres a RISK of frying my mobo. But oh well i guess its worth a shot and several people have done it with success.
