New Server Update Thread (August 2010)

Okay so the class menu won't have the wrong number for how many people are in a class anymore. I also removed a lot of debug messages. The class_menu plugin is now at version 0.97B so it's super close to being out of beta. I just have to make sure everything is perfect with it.

If you guys can, please tell me any problems with any of the following stuff:

Class Menu or /class

Special Menu or /special

Money Printers

Door or Vehicle Ownership

Door or Vehicle lock//unlock and info commands

ATM functions or your bank money

Handcuffing

Warranting or Demoting

Team Radio or Local Chat

That will help me double-check the whole plugin for it's 1.00 version. All other plugins are newer so they're not as far along.

There should be like a reason for warrant.

Money printers are glitchable and you can put them out of the map therefor no one can get them. You can pick them up like props and sort of direct them through the mountain, canyon part.
Handcuffing, both knives do a handcuff, sometimes when im doing close quarters combat with a killer and i dont have a gun it cuffs him instead of killing him, and say im officer and theres a bad mayor- im sort of fucked sideways.

Sometimes when money printers are broken people still get the money printer money and get extra $ for spawning more. For example they spawn 8 of them. They get 1200 extra. Idk how they are "glitching" the money printers.

u can still be gov. with money printers, u just have to make them then switch.

I'll look at the money printer thing. Maybe there's a hole in the code where if they get broken by props or the world or something the player doesn't lose them or something. Can anyone confirm any sort of glitches with the printers though?

Also I'm keeping knife as cuffing, not killing. It disarms whoever you stab so there is no need to kill them anymore.

I fixed some bugs that y'all would never see, but which were there none the less. But the big update today is the new Syndicate team.

Syndicate is only for VIP. I have to update it with new models and stuff, but right now it has Lieutenant and Member classes. I will add a Boss class later. Lieutenant uses the Wesker model (currently also the mayor -- I'll get a new mayor soon) and the Member uses this model which is new to the server:

I got this guy from TechKnow. Anyway I'll make more class updates as fast as I get a chance to so pay attention to the MotD whenever you join if you don't look here every day. The cool part about this is that we can have a VIP team (or multiple VIP teams if I want) which makes VIP more attractive to potential donors. Our VIP offering is now:

- VIP Cars
- Spawn 4 Money Printers
- Spawn 15 Props
- 5 Bonus Prop Credits
- Syndicate Team

I hope to expand this in the future. That's it for now.
