Sorry. But it is necessary. There is no way of that not happening. At this point the switch is almost complete. I did a little test run this morning and had some pretty good results. At the same time I seriously doubt that a majority of players legitimately got their weapons. I am of the opinion that plugin problems and errors have flooded the server with guns.

Capsfan, sorry bro, but u gotta understand, the server is still new. It's only a few months old.

This is a one of a kind server, so the development takes progress. Right now we may have ran into a bump in the road along the way and have to start from scratch again, but this opens up a gate to a better server. And better game quality since less glitching will occur.

I played a game called Shattered Galaxy by Nexon, it was one of the first MMORPG's out there, and i played from beta (Phase 1 - Phase 6) up through the release..each phase we had our levels, money, and units lost...It sucked but if its fun playing its worth it...

Sorry I have been slow to get the database working for item pack. As of right now the plugin still does not work, so I discourage people from buying guns or other items. However I have made some progress. The buy menu (DONT USE IT!!) works now so if you buy something it will show up in inventory. Also, this morning I made a breakthrough, so whereas before if you left the server and rejoined it would remmeber nothing; well, now I finally got it working where it remembers you. Unfortunately I did not have time to implement this for all items. As it stands it only remembers your slots and health packs, but the next time I get to work on it I will hopefully be able to get everything else on line. At that point the database will be reset (right now it is full of errors) and then the changes will be permanent.

Everyone loses all their guns and stuff, but there is no way to convert the old data into the new system. Sorry, but once that's done there should be no more glitches related to the item menu which will stabilize the server and enable players once again to accumulate guns and items. This also will make the server lag less, and the item menu will respond much more quickly when you go to use it because I changed it to not sort through ALL off the players items every single time you try to use it. The way it works now, a player's items are loaded once when they join the server. That way it goes through data of players in game instead of everyone who ever joined RP. And even then I optimized it by telling it to use arrays so it does no actual searching anymore. The searching caused lag when you went to use it.

By the looks of it the item pack works 100% now. Feel free to buy guns and items.

Few requests I have after playing for a shit ton of hours last night:

Increase range on the cuff command, or slower speed on warranted players.

• It is damn near impossible to cuff someone without sneaking up on them or something. Every time I run to cuff someone they just backpedal (at the same speed as me), whip out an AK, and blow me down.

Disable "kill" and "spectate" console commands.

• Players are doing this to escape death, jail, and to be annoying. (See below)

Disable !classes for jailed players.

• Players are switching classes to avoid jail time, then continuing to due what they did before...claiming "New life rule", even though they technically never died.

I believe that's it for now, but I'll let you know anything else I can come up with but these are some of the main ones. Hopefully you can hook that up

Don't cuff warranted players, just stab them. I'll look at the other stuff though and increase the range a bit.
