So, gungame server is officially dead?

Yeah I'm usually a message away but might be later than usual thanks to college.

I'm sure it will take time but I belive GunGame will come back from the dead eventually.

to be honest guys i don't really care for gun game anymore but back bout 3+ years ago when i first came to n/u and meet Turtle Tara ( if ya haven't been around for few yrs prob won't ring a bell ) gun game was the shit and where i hung out at and even when i left it for zm i still went in on occasion when jack'd and mama ice and the rest of old gang was there

i wasn't around when all the shit organ said went on went down so i can't speak for that but i have heard a few stories that I'll keep to myself but what i was gonna say why not either
A. restart and do complete over haul of server
B. change it to a different type of server (possibility no one cares for gg anymore but not sure)
C. take server off completely


also what happened to the 2 death match servers i never ever see anyone in either
to be honest only servers anyone plays on period as i see are
1. office
2. dust 2
3. zombie mod - has been dropping in numbers at early morning hours
4. hide and seek - on occasion
5. rally mod - when nat is around

pretty much the rest stay dead except bots 90 % of time
just my thoughts
all of those not listed need to have something done to em
and as for gun game it we revamp it i will try to join and get back used to it again

Minigames has been doing very well also.

RTV was removed for people being dumb and rtv'ing when someone was on knife or nade. We could put RTV back on the server until people start abusing it again. For some reason people liked RTV more than votemap, yet they are pretty much the exact same thing.

I too started on GunGame when I started CSS. Hate to see it sit empty.

ya didn't mention mini games never been there and i don't have it in my server list atm

and noogey i only said i started n/u with gun game not counter strike or counter strike source or half life for that matter

started half life back in bout late 1998 or early 1999 i remember cause i was working on docks at a company at time prob bout 3 to 5 months after it came out
counter strike was first major popular mod that came out and started that around fall of 1999 and have tried a few different versions over the years and mods have played every version and mod of half life now for most part ya name it i have done it pretty much

believe me I'm a senor at this game (or a old fart) but i have seen it all the betas the growing pains the ugly old versions everything
kinda hard to believe I've been here off and on for whole 11 years and that's one thing that very few people that can play can claim but i swear it's all true

i guess you can say I'm addicted now

Look, it isnt mama ice's fault nor organdonor's or any jr. owner or admin.

The fact is that dozens of the most consistant regulars dont play much css anymore. I have over a hundred of them on my friends list that never log on. It could take some time to earn new regulars and build it back up again: you just dont quit on a business just because you have a bad quarter.

Be patient and see what happens, maybe it will grow or not.

I play in alot of other servers and this is still the best gg in my opinion.

I'd say to do a server reset to 1 year ago (mods and shit, points, all that stuff taken off), make RTV the way it was, etc... Thats the server specific stuff.. Also, the admins shouldn't really be involved in what is going on unless there is a problem, then they should take care of the problem and go back to playing... (we went through a string of admins that didn't abuse their power per se, but made it known that they were admins and that they were in charge instead of just being another player and using their powers only when needed; most of the time, people didn't know I was an admin until they were continually being a bitch)

Another contributing factor is that there was a big group of regs and it got into a close-knit group... The close-knit group (possibly admins also) weren't very "accommodating" to new people so when one person left, the group got one person smaller and so on...

The thing that organ is mentioning is things like a annoying regs getting in trouble from the admin for being a bitch so they would steam msging sajora and sajora would come in the server big dick swinging and piss people off... (try not to get pissed sajora)

I also heard something rumored that a ton of the regs were using wallhacks in the past few months so I'm guessing they jetted after sio whitelisted the server... I somehow always seemed to manage to be able to play without gun skins and have a good time. (plus, lots of servers are white listed & populated)

It sucks to hear that gungame is losing players.. Time to re-install...

I believe that it was the whitelist and wall hacks. I'm sure if you tried getting whats his face....Silent or something?.... in the server he have a bit of trouble.

well even though the servers are whitelisted, you can still use weapon skins.... mine seem to work fine O_o... so unless they are using something they shouldnt be then they shouldnt have a problem when it comes to the skins.
and its nice to see your still alive drink :P thanks for staying in touch lol how old is the baby now??? 2 months? well I think its time daddy drink starts to teach baby drink how to play vidya games :P.... lol NOW GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!
