im going to update my 6 year old rig and kinda want to see what people think about my choices on hardware before i buy

if you went with a quad core its about 75 cheaper unless you went with this quad core

personally I would choose amd over intel any day of the week, but Im almost like you are with amd... I havent had a lot of dealings with intel (what little I did have wasnt good)

one thing i have to have is reg pci slots for my scsi card, the drives host all of my files for our servers and mods and website. also my soundcard is pci

I would have posted but you really don't want my advice when it comes computers. The only thing I know about RAM is that ender and pasties seem to know how to do it and they do it well
